Honoring The Man Without Whom We Cannot Imagine Our Existence

It is a day to honor the man who paints our life with warmth, love, and protection. An epitome of unconditional love, Strength, and shelter. No one in the world can replace him. There is no single day that he takes off from his duties. Such is the story of fatherhood, full of sacrifices and self-denials.

Often I have heard people saying why we celebrate Father’s Day??? Is there only one day to love your father? I love my Father and I don’t need any special day to let him know about my love for him. He knows very well how much I love him and the list goes on…

However, I believe that our jam-packed calendars never give us the opportunity to sit and spend time with our parents and appreciate their hard work for us which has made us what we are today.

The hustle and bustle of life’s race never give us ample time to do this.

So, I affirm that Father’s Day is a day especially dedicated to give thanks to the hard work and sacrifices of the fathers.

The idea to celebrate Father’s Day was originated by Grace Golden Clayton, a daughter of a dedicated reverend to give honor to the services of her father who passed away.

However, along with her own father Mrs. Clayton accredited all those men whose sudden death made many wives widows, children fatherless in the worst mining explosion incident in U.S. history (1908)

Services in the church and prayers were organized to comfort the affected families of the miners.

It turned into a tradition, and people continued to gather year after year in the commemoration of the miners.

Slowly and gradually people started to acknowledge the efforts and hardships of every father living and struggling every day to give his children a better life.

The fathers’ departed from this transient world live in the memories of their children. They cherish every moment spent with them.

We thank God for blessing us with the blessing of father, we ask from God for the strength for our fathers for the hardships they face just for us, for all the sweat which they shed to make our future bright, for all their struggles to provide us the necessities of life, for all the efforts which they make or have made to fulfill our needs and wish-lists.

We need to be really thankful for our fathers for making our lives worth living.

We should not wait for a certain time or a day to make our fathers feel special. As there is no single day when our fathers did not worry for us. Rather he makes us feel special every second of our lives. So, take out time to acknowledge what our fathers have done for us.

Be obedient towards your fathers. Respect them like the way you used to do in your childhood. Allow him to be in power as he was in your childhood and obey his commands in the same way you used to in your childhood.

Remember, father is a shield, a refuge, a ray of hope, a strong pillar of strength, he is the head of the family. His wisdom and experience never fades away.

A child’s childhood becomes worth remembering only if he has a father by his side. Else there are children who lost their fathers. Instead of studying and enjoying their childhood they struggle for the survival of their livelihood.

Honor your father because of him you are in this world.

Obey your father because of his wise decisions you are living a blessed life.

Love your father as he has loved you. Do not leave your father in his old age

because he can’t earn, as he has not left you in your childhood for you couldn’t earn.

Be grateful to God for he has blessed you with a wonderful blessing like ‘father’.

Types of Friends

Do not be misled: “Bad company corrupts good character.”

Friendship is a bond of trust, belief of pure relation, such a bond where we can count on someone blindly. It is a priceless relation. A relation in which someone outside from our family becomes more closer to our hearts than our own blood relations. Cherry on the top we started depending on our dearest friend.

The difficult part is that we are not sure what our dearest friend is up to. We neglect our parents’ concern to be careful, don’t stay all the time with your friend, do not share your home problems or things with him/her, don’t depend too much on your friend etc.

We think the whole world is wrong even our parents but my lovely friend is right. Trusting other people is not a bad thing but, “Are you sure that you are gonna trust on the right person?” Hmmmmmm….. let’s have a look on the Types of Friends we meet.

Mean Friends are those types of friends who only stay with us till the time they need to fulfil their needs from us. As soon as they will realize we are no longer needed by them, they will kick us out like they don’t know us.

Jealous Friends are not less dangerous than an enemy. They are those who stay with you just to have an eye on your life. If you are one step ahead of them. They will stick around you like a glue but continue to cut your roots sophisticatedly and you will never get to know unless and until you will not get a big loss or if you are sharp enough to sense their nasty plans about you. So, indeed your eyes and ears should be open at all times.

Negative Friends are the ones who will not be happy with your success. We mostly find them working with us called by the name of colleagues or work place friends. They don’t want to see you around and wants you to shift your job for which sometimes you will find them giving you new ideas. For example, there is a vacancy in xyz company why don’t you try there bla bla…..

Sympathy Seeker Friend sometimes we meet our old childhood friend. Who lives 10 states away from us but gets a shock to hear you married and happily living your married life. So, here is when their work gets started. They will be in touch with you no matter what but will encourage you to tell them your real domestic problems and especially with your wife. If you don’t have any mess in your life and is satisfied with your better half then they try their best to web a trap around you to gain your attention. If you are a sympathetic person then my friend you are getting in to a serious trouble. So, always be careful to whom you give permission to enter in your life.

Remember, once Judas Iscariot was also a Jesus’ Friend.

A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed From the above discussion please don’t take the image of friends wrong or of mistrust always, because all the friends are not like the above mentioned.

Over here, by the title ‘A Friend in Need is a Friend Indeed’ tells us that there are some people who are worthy enough to be called as ‘Friends.’ The reason is because they have all the following attributes of the relationship called friendship,

They will be loyal

They will be faithful

They will always give you an honest opinion

They will be happy to see you happy

They will be the ones who knock at your door asap in your bad times but with positivity

They will be your partner in crime

They will never leave you alone no matter what

They will be just a call away from you

They will be God fearing and because of this trait they stand out among others.

So, keep enjoying with your friends but stay very much alert to whom you give this virtue to be called a friend.

Does Charity need Publicity?

“But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.”

Charity a Nobel Cause, helps the poor, needy, sick, starved, deprived, with no shelter, no food, no school, old age etc.

It is indeed a nice deed and gesture. It is a symbol of love and care for each other. God loves and bless the donor more than before.

But the act of giving should remain to one’s own self. It definitely does not need a publicity.

Hmmmmmm….., is the publicity of this nobel cause becoming a fashion?

Yes, publicity of the endorsed charity is becoming a world’s culture or probably has become. Thus, if charity is publicised through the breaking news, in the news papers, in the articles, people praising in the talk shows, not to forget the social media which is a very quick and strong medium these days, arranging your charity event and then streaming it live online….

Here, need to know the purpose for giving the charity.

Two questions arises here whether your purpose is to really help anyone or just to get favour in the eyes of people, which is called ‘show off’.

Well, with such a purpose it is better not to donate then.

The purpose to help someone is not to make them feel deprived. This is the announcement that they are the poor souls who need my Mercy.

Rather, the purpose is to fulfil someone’s needs by boosting their morale.

Please stop showing Mercy and donate in a civilized way.

As it is said, “But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing.”

God appreciate those who perform this nobel cause in a low profile. They receive favour in the eyes of God and get their real reward from Almighty.

The trend changing agents of the society

As we the youth are very well blended with today’s modern world. We have more awareness. We should use ourselves to give the awareness to people to turn their ways towards good deeds.

As youth has the power to do all this. I consider youth as a trend changing agents, we are the soldiers, who think sensibly.

In this time of hardship where nature is rough, we need to help Mankind in order to make them understand that they need to turn towards God and need to leave the sinful life.

We are the youth of today’s time where we are not drug addicted, we are not unfaithful towards our parents and elders, we are not senseless, we are not powerless, we are not irresponsible or careless, we are not lazy or lethargic, we don’t like to waste our time.

Rather, We are the youth of today’s time where we are the trend changers, we make our own stage by using our talents and skills positively for the betterment of the society, we are reliable people, we have selected the ‘Right Path’ for us. We are the people anybody can trust upon. We are the people of Liveliness to bring humans towards light from the darkness.

As it is said, “Don’t let anyone frown on yourself because you are young, rather be strong, wise, courageous, firm and stay on the right path.

We need to let people know through our deeds to keep their trust upon us as we are the soldiers, the heroes of the real life.
